The film's director, Karan Sharma, revolves around a soon-to-be-married man stuck in a time loop, reliving the day before his wedding. Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's Bhool Chuk Maaf was initially scheduled for a May 9 release in theaters, but due to India-Pakistan tensions, it was shifted to an OTT premiere on Prime Video on May 16. However, PVR Inox sued the production house, Maddock Films, for breach of contract, citing a loss of Rs 60 crore.
