The move comes after Indian strikes across the Line of Control (LoC) targeted civilian areas and places of worship, resulting in the deaths of at least 26 civilians and injuries to 46 others. Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down five Indian fighter jets and an Israeli-made Heron drone in response, prompting authorities to declare a state of rescue emergency in all six districts and 27 tehsils of the division.
In Sindh, the Home Department has placed police and all law enforcement agencies on high alert, with the Home Minister instructing the immediate activation of civil defence measures, including warning sirens and public shelters.
