Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb was involved in a multi-car accident near Defence Road in Lahore, resulting in minor injuries to her and a bruise on her face, while her mother remained unharmed.

The accident occurred when a speeding vehicle collided with Minister Aurangzeb's car, causing a chain reaction involving several other vehicles. The minister attributed the collision to the other vehicle's failure to apply its brakes on time, and it was reported that the driver of the other vehicle was driving without a valid license.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, obtaining CCTV footage to determine the cause of the accident. The accident disrupted traffic flow in the area, causing slow traffic due to the incident. This is not the first time a provincial minister has been involved in an accident in Lahore, with previous incidents involving Azma Bokhari and Ramesh Singh Arora last year.

The incident highlights the importance of road safety and the need for responsible driving. Minister Aurangzeb's escape with minor injuries is a relief, and the investigation will help determine the cause of the accident and prevent such incidents in the future.
