Anamul Haque's impressive form in domestic cricket has earned him a spot in the squad, and his return could be a crucial factor in Bangladesh's bid to level the series, with the team's strategy and player selection reflecting their determination to succeed.

Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced a 15-member squad for the second Test against Zimbabwe, with Anamul Haque returning to the team after a three-year hiatus, replacing opener Zakir Hasan, while Tanvir Islam replaces uncapped left-arm spinner Nahid Rana.
The changes come as Bangladesh looks to level the series, with Haque's good form in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League earning him a spot in the squad. The 32-year-old opener recently became the first batter from the country to score 50 centuries in recognized cricket, showcasing his impressive skills in domestic cricket.
Haque's return to the team could see him make his first Test appearance in almost three years, having last played a Test in June 2022. The squad's changes also reflect the team's strategy to adapt and improve, with Tanvir Islam bringing a new dynamic to the team as a left-arm spinner.
The second Test against Zimbabwe is set to start on April 28 at Chattogram's Bir Shrestha Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium, and Bangladesh will be looking to utilize Haque's skills to secure a win and level the series.
