Kagiso Rabada's Return Awaited as Rashid Khan Regains Form

Meanwhile, the team is hopeful for the return of star pacer Kagiso Rabada, who has been out due to personal reasons.
Rashid Khan's struggles in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 have been well-documented, with the spinner picking up only 4 wickets in 6 matches and leaking runs at a rate of nearly 10 per over. However, with the help of the team's coaching staff, Rashid has made adjustments to his front-hand action, which has improved his bowling in recent games.
Gujarat Titans assistant coach Aashish Kapoor attributed Rashid's initial issues to the back pain he suffered last season, which required surgery. The team has been working closely with Rashid to help him regain his confidence and perform at his best. The availability of Kagiso Rabada, however, remains uncertain. The star pacer was bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs. 10.75 crore and was expected to make a significant impact, but has been out of the tournament due to personal reasons. Despite his absence, the team has been in excellent form, with other bowlers like Mohammed Siraj, Sai Kishore, and Prasidh Krishna performing well.
