The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced that candidates appearing for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Mains 2025 will be allowed to use calculators in certain papers. The examination, scheduled to be held on April 25, 26, 28, 29, and 30, aims to fill 2,035 vacancies in various state government departments.
According to the exam-day instructions released by the BPSC, simple calculators will be permitted for the General Studies Paper I on April 28, while scientific calculators will be allowed for the Mathematics and Statistics paper on April 30. However, calculators will not be allowed for the optional subject exam in the first shift on April 29. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in, and must carry it along with a valid ID proof to the exam centre.
The BPSC has also released a declaration form for candidates with unclear photos or signatures on their admit cards. Such candidates must submit the declaration form and identification on April 25. The commission has advised candidates to carefully read the exam-day instructions and follow the guidelines to avoid any inconvenience during the examination.
