A provocative video surfaced on Instagram, featuring a youth named Suhail, who called for beheading and threatened Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal over his comments on Prophet Mohammed during a Ram Navami event in Hubballi, Karnataka. Suhail demanded that all Muslims come together to fight against Yatnal and requested the police to arrest him.

The video was later deleted after Public TV reported on it, and Muslim leaders have condemned the video, demanding a probe into the case. They claim that the video may have been created to gain sympathy for the BJP high command and to deny permission for their rally. The police have been asked to investigate the case and take action against the guilty.

This comes a day after an audio clip was circulated threatening Yatnal, calling for a rally to barge into his house on April 15. BJP MLA Basangouda Yatnal has been booked for his comments on Prophet Mohammed, which he claims were misinterpreted. Yatnal said he was referring to Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, and was drawing parallels between Jinnah's statement and that of Uddhav Thackeray, a Maharashtra politician.

The controversy surrounding Yatnal's comments has sparked a heated debate, with the Congress organizing protests against him. Yatnal has accused the Congress of trying to bring down the Siddaramaiah government, but claims he is not afraid of death threats. The police are investigating the case, and the situation remains tense.
