2nd PUC Result 2025 Karnataka: 69.16% Pass
Sanjana Bai, Nayana B, and Ravi Kiran are among the top scorers, with Sanjana aiming to become an IAS officer and return to her village as a role model. The results highlight the achievements of students from diverse backgrounds, with many aiming to pursue higher education and careers in fields such as data analytics and artificial intelligence.
Karnataka's PUC II examination results for 2025 were announced on April 8, with 4,68,439 students passing out of 6,37,805, resulting in a pass percentage of 69.16%, a decrease from the previous year's pass percentage of 81.15%. Sanjana Bai from Karnataka topped the state with 99% in the Arts stream, becoming the first person from her village to achieve this feat.
Among the top scorers, Nayana B, daughter of a taxi driver, scored 97% and credits her success to studying from 11 pm to 8 am, finding it helps her focus. Ravi Kiran, a farmer's son from Chitradurga, secured 99% in the Science stream, despite not meeting his expectations in English. Deeksha, Karnataka's PUC topper, aims to pursue a degree in Artificial Intelligence, having scored 98.6% in ICSE 10th grade.
The pass percentage for science students is 80.85%, while for arts and commerce students, it is 73.45% and 71.35% respectively. The pass percentage for boys is 68.20%, and for girls, it is 77.88%. A total of 2,92,111 boys and 3,45,694 girls appeared for the exam. The pass percentage for rural students is 69.33%, and for urban students, it is 74.55%.
A total of 1,00,571 students have scored 85% and above marks, classified as distinction. The pass percentage for Scheduled Castes is 62.43%, and for Scheduled Tribes, it is 63.07%. The result will be available on the official website, and students can also check their performance on the website. The re-evaluation and re-totaling results will be announced on the KSEAB website, and there is no fee for re-totaling.
Students can check their scores on karresults.nic.in or kseab.karnataka.gov.in. The link to download the result was made live at 1 pm, and candidates need to select their stream and submit their registration number to access their results.
