Bollywood star Salman Khan has broken his silence on the death threats he has been receiving from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently in jail for various serious charges, stating that the threats have impacted his daily life and travel plans.

Khan expressed his faith in fate, saying "God, Allah, everything depends on Him. It's predetermined how long I'll live." He also mentioned that the security measures he must take have become a problem, stating that he sometimes has to be escorted by many security officials. The threats from Bishnoi's gang have been ongoing, with incidents including opening fire outside Khan's residence and planning to kill him while he was on his way to his farmhouse.

The threats are reportedly linked to the blackbuck poaching case from 1997, which is a sensitive issue in the Bishnoi community. Khan received a threat via WhatsApp demanding a ransom and an apology for the incident. Despite the threats, Khan's upcoming film, Sikandar, is set to release on March 30, coinciding with Eid celebrations.

Khan has stated that he has lived as long as he has been written about, implying that he is not fazed by the threats. He has also spoken about the extra security measures he has to take, which include being accompanied by security from his residence to the set and back, with no detours. The extensive security detailing doesn't cramp his style when he's with the press, but rather when he's without them.

The attack on Khan's residence by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in April 2024 was a turning point, and since then, Khan has been receiving threats. Despite the challenges, Khan remains committed to his work and is looking forward to the release of his upcoming film.
