Shadab Khan Breaks Silence on Messaging Allegations

Updated :

Pakistani cricketer Shadab Khan has responded to claims of cricketers sending messages to female actors and TikTokers on social media, stating that there's nothing wrong with reaching out and that it's up to the recipients to block or respond as they see fit.

Shadab Khan's comments came in response to allegations made by TikTok star Shahtaj Khan, who claimed to have been in contact with him via WhatsApp and Instagram for months. However, Shadab denied the allegations, saying that many similar claims are often exaggerated for attention. He also revealed that his teammates often joke about who sent messages to actresses, but there's no serious debate within the team.

The controversy surrounding Shadab Khan and Shahtaj Khan took a turn when Shahtaj appeared on a show, expressing admiration for Shadab and revealing she had traveled to Lahore to watch his matches. She also expressed disappointment after his marriage, which led to a reaction from Shadab's fans. Shadab clarified that if female actors don't like the messages, they have the option to block, and that some actors may respond for fame, especially during major cricket tournaments like the World Cup.

Shadab Khan's comments also follow claims from female actors such as Nawal Saeed that they received messages from cricketers. He stated that everybody has the option to block, and if they don't like the messages, they shouldn't reply. However, he also noted that there are also replies from actors that appear to show interest, as if they want to talk.

The issue has sparked a debate about the interactions between cricketers and female actors on social media, with some criticizing the cricketers for sending messages and others defending their right to reach out. Shadab Khan's comments have added a new perspective to the debate, emphasizing the importance of personal boundaries and the option to block unwanted messages.
