Pakistan Prepares for Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifiers

Pakistan has named a 15-member squad for the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifiers, to be held in Lahore from April 9 to 19, with Sana as captain and Muneeba Ali as vice-captain, as the team aims to secure a spot in the 2025 Women's World Cup in India.
The squad includes experienced players such as Shawaal Zulfiqar, who has made a comeback after a shoulder injury, and will play six matches against teams including Scotland, West Indies, Thailand, and Bangladesh. The top two teams from the qualifiers will secure a spot in the 2025 Women's World Cup. The tournament will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA ground in Lahore, with day and night matches starting at 9:30 am and 2 pm respectively.
