Gwyneth Paltrow and Timothée Chalamet star in the upcoming film "Marty Supreme", a fictional story inspired by professional ping-pong player Marty Reisman, with Paltrow revealing that she and Chalamet have a lot of sex scenes in the movie.

Paltrow plays a table tennis WAG, while Chalamet plays the main character, Marty Mauser, in the film directed by Josh Safdie. The actress mentioned that she refused to have an intimacy coordinator on set, despite the role being a big change for her, stating that she felt stifled by the idea of being told exactly how to perform intimate scenes.

The film marks Paltrow's first major acting role since 2010's Country Strong, and she was encouraged by her friend Cameron Diaz's return to acting. Director Josh Safdie praised Paltrow's on-screen presence, saying she's a "movie star in the cosmic sense." Paltrow also praised Chalamet, calling him a "thinking man's sex symbol" and commending his professionalism.

The movie, which also stars Tyler, the Creator and Fran Drescher, is loosely based on the life of table tennis champion Martin "Marty" Reisman and involves a "transactional" relationship between Paltrow's character and Chalamet's Marty, with "a lot" of sex scenes, making it a highly anticipated release.
