AR Rahman, the renowned Oscar-winning composer, was admitted to Chennai's Apollo Hospital due to dehydration caused by fasting for Ramzan, but has since been discharged and is "absolutely fine", according to the hospital's CEO.

Rahman had returned from London the previous day and felt unwell, leading him to seek medical attention. This incident comes after the musician and his wife Saira Banu announced their separation last year after 29 years of marriage, citing health reasons. Although they are separated, Banu wished him a speedy recovery and requested not to be addressed as his "ex-wife" because they are not officially divorced.

It's worth noting that AR Rahman was initially reported to have been rushed to a private hospital in Chennai due to chest pain, where he underwent medical tests, including an ECG and echocardiogram. However, the latest update confirms that he was admitted due to dehydration caused by fasting for Ramzan and has since been discharged.

The musician's health has been a concern for his fans and well-wishers, and it's reassuring to know that he is recovering well. AR Rahman's contributions to the music industry are invaluable, and his well-being is a priority for his loved ones and admirers alike.
