Bayern Munich Advances with Harry Kane

Bayern Munich has secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League with a 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen, led by Harry Kane's historic goal, becoming the first English player to score 10 goals in the competition this season.

The match, played at the BayArena with an attendance of 30,210, saw Bayern Munich dominate the game, having 46.6% of possession and 121 shots, while Bayer Leverkusen had 53.4% possession and 17 shots. The only goals of the game were scored by Harry Kane in the 52nd minute and Alphonso Davies in the 71st minute.

Kane's 10th goal in the competition made him the first English player to achieve this feat, while Davies' goal sealed the win for Bayern Munich. The win marked Bayern Munich's 35th appearance in the quarter-finals of the European Cup/UEFA Champions League, with only Real Madrid having done so more times.

With this win, Bayern Munich advances to the quarter-finals, while Bayer Leverkusen will be aiming to become the fifth side in UEFA Champions League history to lose the first leg of a knockout stage tie by 3+ goals and still progress. Harry Kane's performance has put him on track to break the record for most goals scored by an English player in a single European Cup/Champions League campaign.
