WWE 2K25 is set to introduce new DLC packs, including the Attitude Era Superstars pack, which will feature D'Lo Brown, Road Dogg, Victoria, and Mark Henry, alongside Billy Gunn, New Jack, and Abyss, expanding the game's roster with a mix of current and legendary wrestlers.
The season pass for WWE 2K25 guarantees access to five DLC packs, each containing five wrestlers, providing players with a steady stream of new content. To access the full experience, players must unlock various features, including superstars, legends, championships, and arenas, which can be achieved by earning in-game currency, VC, or completing specific game modes like Showcase, MyRISE, and MyFACTION.
Special editions of the game, such as the Deadman Edition or Bloodline Edition, offer immediate unlockables, allowing players to access exclusive content right away. The game's developers have also released a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the making of the "WWE 2K25" commercial, featuring Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and Rhea Ripley, highlighting the game's new feature, The Island, a free-roam experience.
The Island allows players to buy items and complete quests, with Reigns praising the inclusion of this feature and the Bloodline, stating it's "a long time coming" and that they "created a world" with their narrative. The commercial, which was the most expensive in "WWE 2K" history, involved 75 people working over two days to bring the game's vision to life.
