Elektra Lopez, a member of the WWE's Legado del Fantasma, is among the 11 talents released by the company, with the list including notable names such as Sonya Deville, Cedric Alexander, and Luke Gallows. The releases are reportedly linked to anticipated main roster call-ups from WWE NXT, although the reason for the cuts was not specified.

The released talents also include Karl Anderson, Akam and Rezar of AOP, their manager Paul Ellering, Blair Davenport, Isla Dawn, and Giovanni Vinci. Isla Dawn, who was part of the NXT Women's Tag Team Champions with Alba Fyre, announced her release on social media, mentioning a 90-day non-compete clause. Dawn had won the Women's Tag Team Championship in Scotland at Clash at the Castle in June 2024.

Sonya Deville's contract will not be renewed, allowing her to appear elsewhere after her deal expires in a few weeks. Deville, a former MMA fighter, competed in the 2025 women's Royal Rumble match and was a one-time WWE tag team champion. Cedric Alexander, a 35-year-old veteran, confirmed his release on X, thanking WWE for the last 8.5 years and hinting at joining AEW's Hurt Syndicate.

Gallows and Anderson, known as the Good Brothers, were released from their WWE contract but will reportedly continue working together. Dawn, Davenport, and Vinci were underused members of the SmackDown roster, while AOP was part of the Final Testament stable which struggled to advance.

The releases mark a significant shake-up in the WWE roster, with many of the released talents expected to explore opportunities outside of the company. As the WWE continues to evolve and shape its roster, fans will be watching closely to see where these talented performers end up next.
