Samsung has announced the launch of its new mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G, featuring impressive specs and affordable prices, starting at $300 for the Galaxy A26 and $499 for the Galaxy A56.
The Galaxy A56 boasts a 6.7-inch screen, 12MP selfie camera, 50MP main sensor, and a large 5,000mAh battery. The device features a new design with a thinner 7.4mm body and a brushed metal frame. The camera system includes AI-powered features like object detection, enhanced image processing, and video editing tools. The phone runs on One UI 7 with six generations of OS updates and six years of security updates.
The Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G feature similar specs, including a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, 50MP primary camera, and 5,000mAh battery. The Galaxy A36 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, while the Galaxy A26 uses Samsung's Exynos 1380 processor. Both phones support 45-watt fast charging and have IP67 water resistance.
The Galaxy A36 and A26 will arrive in the US on March 26 and March 28, respectively, with the Galaxy A56 expected later this year. The phones will also get access to AI-powered features like Object Eraser and enhanced Circle to Search, allowing users to translate screen content and identify music.
