New Visions for Black Liberation: A Call to Come Out of the System
In a recent address, Student Minister Ishmael Muhammad of the Nation of Islam emphasized the need for Black people to come out of the current system and build an alternate reality, citing a biblical scripture from Revelation 18:4 that calls for separation from the wicked.
Muhammad, drawing on the teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, highlighted the Nation of Islam's influence on the landscape of America and the world. Despite facing opposition and attempts to tarnish their character, he asserted that the Nation represents a new idea and a new system, one that aims to bring positive change to Black communities through the teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, as outlined in teachings published in The Final Call newspaper.
The Minister also critiques the voting system, stating that neither the Democratic nor Republican Party has brought significant change or freedom to Black people. He notes that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad wrote that the Black man should exercise caution when voting, as 90% of Black votes are cast by those without knowledge of what they are voting for. This sentiment is echoed by Al Sharpton, who argues that some leaders are dealing with a new form of Jim Crow and that Black people must wake up to the fact that the system is deceiving them.
The Fruit of Islam (F.O.I.) members are committed to delivering positive change to their communities through the teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, under the leadership of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. The organization's community outreach, as published in The Final Call newspaper, strives to promote healing and upliftment, maintaining integrity and service to their communities. The F.O.I.'s work is part of a broader legacy of Black contributions to American culture, despite centuries of suppression and oppression.
The Black community in the US has made significant contributions to identity, resistance, and culture, shaping the African diaspora. Their resilience and creativity have allowed them to excel and thrive, producing world-embracing art, ideas, and culture. Despite historical challenges, their legacy continues to be marked by remarkable efforts to preserve their identity and foster resistance against systemic oppression, including the Black Panther Party, the Nation of Islam, and the teachings of Elijah Muhammad and Louis Farrakhan.
As Student Minister Ishmael Muhammad calls Black people to come out of the system, the Nation of Islam, F.O.I., and the Black community at large continue to strive for a new reality, one that upholds true freedom, justice, and equality. With a deep understanding of their true history as the Original People, they remain committed to delivering light, life, and power to the planet, serving as a beacon of hope in the darkest times.
