Tri Series Pakistan 2025: Smooth Traffic, Strong Squad

The tournament will feature Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa, and will be a crucial warm-up for the Champions Trophy, with all three teams looking to fine-tune their skills and strategies before the major tournament, and with the traffic management in place, spectators can look forward to a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Lahore Traffic Police have completed preparations for the upcoming tri-nation series, ensuring smooth traffic management with 1,000 traffic officers deployed and designated parking areas around the city, as Pakistan prepares to take on New Zealand and South Africa in the tournament.

The tournament will serve as a warm-up for the Champions Trophy, set to be held from February 19 to March 9, and Pakistan will look to carry the momentum from their consecutive three One-day International series wins into the tri-nation series. Vice-captain Salman Ali Agha expressed confidence in the team's ability to perform well, despite the absence of opener Saim Ayub due to an ankle injury.

Saim Ayub's replacement, all-rounder Khushdil Shah, brings hard-hitting potential and handy slow left-arm bowling, and Salman hopes to form a good partnership with him. New Zealand bowling coach Jacob Oram believes the team will be able to draw attention towards themselves in the Champions Trophy, and the tri-series will help them prepare for the tournament.

To facilitate spectators, roads like Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, and Ferozepur Road will remain open, with temporary halts during team departures. Traffic updates will be available through the Rasta app and Rasta FM 88.6, and spectators can park their vehicles in designated areas around Government College, Liberty, CBD near Centre Point, and LDA Plaza.

The tri-nation series is set to begin on Saturday, with Pakistan taking on New Zealand in the opener at the Gaddafi Stadium, and the single-league series will help the three teams prepare for the Champions Trophy.
