Loma Linda University Medical Center has been ranked as the best hospital in the Riverside-San Bernardino metro area, while UF Health has been recognized among the nation's best hospitals with seven medical specialties ranked among the country's finest.

The rankings, released by U.S. News & World Report, evaluate factors such as patient outcomes, complication rates, and patient experience, based on data from over 800 million patient records. Loma Linda University Medical Center's obstetrics and gynecology care was ranked 38th in the US, and the hospital received high-performing rankings in gastroenterology and urology, as well as 14 common adult procedures and conditions.

UF Health's high rankings are due to its commitment to providing exceptional care, with a focus on multidisciplinary teams, innovation, and patient-centered care. The hospital's specialties, including Cancer, Cardiology & Heart Surgery, Gastroenterology & GI Surgery, Geriatrics, Nephrology, Neurology & Neurosurgery, and Urology, were recognized among the country's finest. UF Health Shands is also ranked in the top 10% nationally for several adult specialties and procedures.
