The highly anticipated Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie Part 1 has been released in Japan, selling out tickets within an impressive 10-15 minutes, with its international release scheduled for September 12, 2025, in countries including India, US, UK, and Canada.
The film, also known as Akaza's Return, features an intense battle between Giyu Tomioka and Upper Rank Three demon Akaza, with a leaked scene showcasing Akaza striking Tomioka and leaving him bleeding from the forehead. The scene also highlights impressive VFX using 2D models of the characters, as Tanjiro joins the fight. Japan's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Infinity Castle is set to open on July 18, following the success of its predecessor, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train, which became Japan's highest-grossing film of all time.
