Azerbaijan's Chief of General Staff, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, has arrived in Saudi Arabia for an official visit, where he will meet with Saudi military leaders and visit the Islamic Military Counterterrorism Coalition Center, as Saudi Arabia solidifies its position as a global leader in cybersecurity.

During his visit, Colonel General Valiyev will hold meetings with Saudi military leaders, including General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, to strengthen military ties between the two countries. Saudi Arabia has maintained its position as the top-ranked country in global cybersecurity, according to the International Institute for Management Development World Competitiveness Yearbook. The country's leadership, including King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, have continued to support the country's cybersecurity efforts.

In addition to its cybersecurity advancements, Saudi Arabia has also made significant strides in other areas, including transportation and cultural heritage. The Riyadh Metro has become a popular mode of transportation for residents, featuring driverless trains and air-conditioned cabins. Meanwhile, a traditional handmade leather container called Al-Samil is making a comeback in the Northern Borders region, celebrated as a lasting emblem of Bedouin heritage.

Saudi Arabia's Project Masam has also cleared 1,559 explosive devices from various regions of Yemen, bringing the total number of mines cleared since the project began in 2018 to 504,295. The project trains local demining engineers and provides them with modern equipment, offering support to Yemenis injured by the devices. Furthermore, a new documentary by the Ministry of Media's Konoz initiative has highlighted Saudi Arabia's progress and development towards achieving its Vision 2030 goals.

As Saudi Arabia continues to make strides in various fields, its diplomatic efforts are also yielding positive results. Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji recently received EU Ambassador to the Kingdom Christophe Farnaud in Riyadh, where they discussed relations between the Kingdom and the EU, as well as regional and international developments of common interest.
