Fast 11 Release Set for April 2027 with Nostalgic Twist
The final installment will honor the 25th anniversary of the original and be set in Los Angeles, where the franchise started filming 25 years ago, bringing a sense of closure and nostalgia to the story, as the characters reunite for one last time.

Vin Diesel has confirmed that the final installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, titled Fast and Furious 11, will hit cinemas in April 2027, with a return to the franchise's street racing roots and a reunion between Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Connor.
The film's release date was announced at the Fuel Fest event in California, where Diesel also hinted at the return of Brian O'Connor, played by the late Paul Walker. Diesel revealed that he agreed to the release date under three conditions: returning the story to Los Angeles, reviving the franchise's street racing roots, and reuniting Dominic Toretto with O'Connor. The return of O'Connor is likely to be achieved through digital effects or archival footage, similar to how Furious 7 handled his emotional sendoff.
The film will focus on emotional closure and nostalgic themes, and its storyline is unclear, but Diesel's comments suggest it will continue the story from where Fast X left off. Vin Diesel also shared a glimpse of his emotional reunion with the Fast family, including Sung Kang, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster, as they assemble for the filming of the finale movie 'Fast X: Part 2'. The movie will reunite Dominic Toretto with Brian O'Conner and feature street racing, set to release in April 2027.
The reunion is a highlight of the 11th sequel, which will bring back the core concept of the franchise. Diesel expressed his love for the Fast family, calling it "indescribable" and feeling lucky to experience it firsthand. With the release of Fast 11, fans can expect an action-packed and emotionally charged conclusion to the beloved franchise.
