Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max to Feature New Colors
The iPhone 17 series is expected to bring significant upgrades, including new colors, larger displays, and potentially a new ultra-thin model, with Apple's focus on innovation and customer experience driving the development of these new features and products.

Apple is internally testing two new colors, Purple and Green, for the upcoming iPhone 17 series, with Purple reportedly being the frontrunner, while also considering a color refresh for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models.
The company is expected to launch the iPhone 17 series around mid-September 2025, with analyst David Phelan predicting a launch date of September 9. However, the launch may not happen before September 15 due to the IFA consumer electronics event in Berlin. The new iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Plus will feature larger 6.3-inch displays, but will omit ProMotion features, which will remain exclusive to the Pro models.
A separate report suggests that Apple is preparing for the release of a new iPhone model, the iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to be the thinnest iPhone ever released, measuring 5.5 millimeters thick and weighing around 145 grams. The second beta of iOS 26 has revealed clues about the existence of the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, with a new display resolution, 1260x2736 pixels, matching a leaked resolution for the rumored iPhone 17 Air.
Apple is also working on new features, including a potential OLED display upgrade for the iPhone series, and has released a second public build of iOS 26 to address battery and security issues. The company's upcoming MacBook Pro upgrade in 2026 is expected to feature a major redesign with OLED technology, and Apple is also working on generative AI updates, but no practical release is expected before 2026.
