The teaser launch of The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt, was held in Hyderabad, where producer T G Vishwa Prasad praised Prabhas as the "largest icon in the world", but the film's teaser has received widespread backlash for its poor execution, with critics panning the villain's character design and subpar VFX.

The Raja Saab team has spoken out about the long shoot hours, with the crew working 18 hours a day, from 6 AM to 10 PM, while actors work 8 hours a day, amid controversy surrounding Deepika Padukone's exit from Prabhas' film Spirit due to long workdays and strict scheduling. The film's makers revealed that the 40-minute grand climax took 120 days to film and the VFX team took 300 days to capture the scenes shot in the largest set in the world.

The film, directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment, has a star-studded cast, including Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar, but it may struggle to live up to expectations. The teaser's poor reception has raised concerns about the final product, with critics questioning the film's production values and character building.

The Raja Saab is set to release on December 5, 2025, and the film's makers have a task ahead to convince audiences that the final product will be worth watching, despite the uninspired character building and lackluster production values showcased in the teaser.
