Pakistan to Host Sri Lanka 'A' Team for Five-Match Series in November

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Islamabad will host Sri Lanka 'A' team for a five-match series against Pakistan Shaheens in November, as part of the board's efforts to invest in its young talent. The series will begin on November 11 with two four-day matches, followed by a three-match 50-over series starting on November 25.

This series marks the second home series for the Pakistan Shaheens in three months, after their previous tour of Bangladesh 'A' and Bangladesh's Northern Territory. The PCB is using these series to provide its young players with valuable experience and exposure against strong opposition, with the goal of developing a robust domestic cricket structure. The Pakistan Shaheens will face a tough challenge in the Sri Lanka 'A' team, which will arrive in Islamabad on November 7 for a three-day training period before the series.

The schedule for the series is as follows: November 7: Arrival in Islamabad, November 11-14: 1st four-day match vs Pakistan Shaheens at Islamabad Club, November 18-21: 2nd four-day match vs Pakistan Shaheens at Islamabad Club, November 25: 1st 50-over match vs Pakistan Shaheens at Islamabad Club, November 27: 2nd 50-over match vs Pakistan Shaheens at Islamabad Club, and November 29: 3rd 50-over match vs Pakistan Shaheens at Islamabad Club.
