Bayern Munich Rival Arsenal Eyes Benjamin Sesko Transfer

The transfer fee and payment structure are being discussed, with RB Leipzig initially wanting a shorter timeframe. If the deal goes through, Sesko's goals will be crucial in helping Arsenal secure a top-two finish in the Premier League, with the club exploring other transfer options, including a versatile winger, backup goalkeeper, and centre-back.

Arsenal are working to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, who scored 22 goals in all competitions last season, with top officials from RB Leipzig visiting London for further talks on the transfer fee, expected to be around €100 million.

The Gunners are looking for a new centre-forward and Sesko is one of their prime targets, alongside Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres. Despite consistent reports of Arsenal's interest, no formal approach had been made initially, but significant progress has been made in negotiations. Leipzig could demand up to £85m for the striker, but Arsenal's offer is closer to the higher end of the €60.2M-€73.6M range.

The predicted Premier League table if Arsenal sign Sesko suggests that the Gunners will finish second, with Sesko scoring 15-20 league goals, helping to convert draws into wins for Mikel Arteta. The table predicts Manchester City will finish first with 90 points, while Arsenal will finish with 88 points, ahead of Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United.

Personal terms with Sesko have not been finalized, but there are no major issues forecast. However, Arsenal may revisit Sesko's wages in an upgraded contract in the medium term due to difficulties complying with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules. With Bayern Munich not mentioned as a suitor, Arsenal appears to be in the driver's seat to sign the Slovenian striker.
