Master Changan Motors Limited has unveiled the Changan Lumin, a compact electric hatchback that aims to make electric mobility affordable and accessible to everyone in Pakistan. The Changan Lumin Mini EV comes in two variants, Lumin L and Lumin L DC, with a seating capacity of four people. Measuring 3720mm in length, 1700mm in width, and 1590mm in height, the car boasts a 1980mm wheelbase and a generous 150mm of ground clearance. The exterior features a sleek design with halogen projector headlights, LED turn signals, and a light-on system, giving it a distinctive look. The car also rides on 14-inch street wheels with a tire size of 165/70R14 and is available in five exterior colors. Inside, the interior options include two colors - light grey-orange and grey-black - with fabric seats and a convenient lever for folding and sliding the front passenger seat.

Safety is not compromised either, with the Changan Lumin Mini EV equipped with dual front airbags, TPMS, automatic car door lock, electronic stability program, ABS, EBD, AEB, HHC, rearview camera, and two parking sensors, ensuring a secure and confident driving experience. The powertrain consists of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor with Front-Wheel Drive, producing 47hp and 83Nm of torque, with a maximum speed of 101 km/h. The Regenerative Braking system and Eco + Sports drive modes are common in both variants, allowing drivers to switch between energy-efficient performance and a more dynamic driving experience.

The Changan Lumin Mini EV has two battery options - a 27.98 Kw battery in the Lumin L variant and a 28.08 Kw Lithium Iron Phosphate battery in the Lumin L DC variant.
