Gabi Portilho Joins Brazil FC for Copa América

Brazil has named Gotham FC forward Gabi Portilho to its 23-player roster for the 2025 Copa América, marking her return to the tournament after representing Brazil in the 2022 edition. Portilho, 29, previously played in four matches and recorded one assist as Brazil won the title. She joined Gotham FC from Corinthians in Brazil, where she spent four years and became a key contributor to one of South America's most dominant clubs.

Portilho has made seven appearances for Gotham FC, scoring on her debut and tallying two assists this season. The Brazilians will compete in Group B and begin play in Ecuador on July 13 against Venezuela. The team will also face Bolivia, Paraguay, and Colombia in the group stage.
