Fakhar Zaman's impressive record against New Zealand, combined with his overall performance in international cricket, has earned him recognition as a talented and feared player, with Kane Williamson and Aaqib Javed among those who have praised his abilities, highlighting his importance to Pakistan's cricket team and his potential to continue delivering match-winning performances.

Fakhar Zaman has been labeled a "dangerous" player by former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, who admitted that New Zealand is tired of facing the Pakistani batter due to his consistent match-winning performances against them. Zaman has scored over 3600 runs in 86 ODIs, including 11 centuries and 17 fifties, making him a key player for Pakistan.

Williamson's praise for Zaman is not limited to his recent performances, as he has also named the Pakistani batter as one of his favorite players from the current generation, alongside Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Williamson has also expressed admiration for Pakistani cricketers from the past, including Mohammad Yousuf, Younis Khan, Shoaib Malik, and Inzamam-ul-Haq. He has praised specific players for their expertise in certain cricket shots, such as Babar Azam for the straight drive and Younis Khan for the sweep shot.

Meanwhile, Williamson has confirmed that he will not sign a central contract with New Zealand Cricket for the second year in a row, citing a desire to focus on his fitness and play for Middlesex in the County Championship and T20 Blast. This decision comes as Williamson continues to impress on the international stage, having represented New Zealand in 105 Test matches, 173 ODIs, and 93 T20 Internationals, scoring over 19,000 runs across all formats.

Pakistan's Director of High-Performance Aaqib Javed has backed Zaman, calling him an important player for the team's success. With Williamson's praise and Javed's endorsement, Fakhar Zaman is likely to continue playing a key role in Pakistan's cricket team, posing a threat to opposing teams, including New Zealand, in the future.
