X and Los Lobos, two iconic bands from the Los Angeles music scene, are joining forces for their first-ever national tour together, celebrating 99 years of rock 'n' roll history. The tour marks a historic moment in music, with all original members from both bands still performing after over six decades.
The 99 Years of Rock 'N' Roll Tour will feature X performing their career-spanning hits, along with selections from their latest albums, "Smoke & Fiction" and "Alphabetland." Los Lobos will also perform their own set, showcasing their unique blend of rock, Latin, and American roots music. The tour kicks off on July 19th in Denver and will continue through late November, with multiple legs and more dates to be announced.
In addition to the tour, X has released a new single, "Wild Thing," narrated by Exene, celebrating over 40 years of their iconic rendition of the song. A limited edition 12" picture disc vinyl will be available via Fat Possum Records. The tour will take X and Los Lobos to cities that have never seen them together before, including Denver, Salt Lake City, Santa Ana, Toronto, Detroit, and many more.
