Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.2 Brings New Features and Improvements

CD Projekt Red has released a significant update for Cyberpunk 2077, bringing new features, improvements, and bug fixes to the game. The update, version 2.2, adds a range of new customization options, enhances the game's photo mode, and makes significant improvements to the overall gaming experience.

At the heart of the update are the 112 new character customization options, including 32 new eye colors, 18 lip makeup types, and 17 nail colors. The update also introduces a "Plain-to-Punk" slider for the character creator randomizer, allowing players to tailor their characters' appearances to their liking. The character creator randomizer now also features aPlain-to-Punk slider, giving players a more nuanced control over their character's look.

In addition to character customization, the update introduces the TwinTone feature, which allows players to scan and save car paint jobs from other vehicles and apply them to their own. This innovative feature provides players with endless possibilities for customizing their in-game rides. The update also enhances the game's photo mode, with new camera options, aspect ratios, and lighting settings. Players can now spawn up to three NPCs in photo mode and display their photos in a new gallery feature.

Furthermore, the update fixes various bugs, including issues with quests, combat, and UI functionality. It also includes performance improvements on Intel Arrow Lake-based CPUs, providing a significant 33% gaming boost.

The update's patch notes detail a wide range of changes, including the addition of 10 most requested vehicles from the streets of Night City, which are now available for purchase on Autofixer. Players can also look forward to Johnny Silverhand occasionally appearing in the passenger seat while V is driving, providing additional context and commentary to the game's events.
