Redefining History: Kesari Chapter 2 Sees Rise

Akshay Kumar's historical drama "Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh" has opened with a modest Rs 7.50 crore on its first day, despite positive reviews and high expectations, coinciding with the 106th anniversary of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

The film, which stars Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday, is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and tells the untold story of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, with Akshay Kumar playing the role of C. Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who fought against the British Raj.
