Salman Khan's film "Sikandar" has experienced a significant slowdown in its box office collection, earning under Rs 1 crore on Day 14, with a total collection of Rs 109.64 crore so far. The film's collections have dropped by over 50% compared to the previous week, with a total of just Rs 70 lakh recorded in the third weekend.

The decline in box office numbers is attributed to the release of Sunny Deol's "Jaat", which debuted on a Thursday and collected Rs 26.50 crore in its opening weekend. "Jaat" has also seen a drop in earnings, with a 47.5% drop on day 8, collecting ₹2.1 crore and taking its total business to ₹59.6 crore. The occupancy rate for "Jaat" dropped to a single-digit percentage for the first time, with a 7.80% overall occupancy among the Hindi audience.

"Sikandar" has seen a dip in box office numbers on its third Tuesday, earning Rs 25 lakh domestically, with a 9.59% Hindi occupancy on April 15. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss, stars Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, alongside Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar. The film was released on March 30 and marks the first collaboration between Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna.

The box office performance of "Sikandar" is expected to be impacted by the release of Akshay Kumar's Kesari 2 on Friday, which will clash with the film. The upcoming release is likely to affect the footfall for "Sikandar", which is already struggling to maintain its box office numbers.
