Fatima Sana Shaikh has revealed that her first film with Aamir Khan was actually Ishq, released in 1997, not Dangal, where she had a small role as a child artist, marking the beginning of her journey in the film industry.

Fatima shared a memorable story about a scene in Ishq where Aamir's character runs towards Kajol, shouting "Mara, mara, mara", and the child in Kajol's arms is actually Fatima herself. This early start in the industry was just the beginning of her career, which would eventually lead to her breakout role in the 2016 film Dangal, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film ever, grossing over ₹2,000 crore worldwide.

Before her rise to fame, Fatima faced struggles in the industry, working in films like Chachi 420, Bade Dilwala, and One 2 Ka 4. However, her role in Dangal catapulted her to fame, earning her a net collection of over Rs 300 crores. Despite facing setbacks after the failure of 'Thugs of Hindostan', she has regained her confidence with roles in 'Ludo', 'Dhak Dhak', and 'Sam Bahadur'.

Fatima Sana Shaikh is currently working on 'Metro...In Dino' with director Anurag Basu, along with other upcoming films like Ul Jalool Ishq, and Aap Jaisa Koi, solidifying her position as a leading actress in Bollywood.
