Emraan Hashmi's son Ayaan has been making waves in the chess world, participating in international tournaments and surpassing his father's skills in the game, with Hashmi crediting his wife Parveen for supporting their son's chess journey.

Hashmi, who has been shooting in Lucknow, recently flew back to Mumbai on his birthday to spend time with family and friends. He is currently preparing for his upcoming projects, including the film Ground Zero, which is based on the Border Security Force's best operation in 50 years. Additionally, he is foraying into South cinema with a Telugu gangster thriller, OG, and has entered Adivi Shesh's action-packed spy franchise with a sequel to the 2018 Telugu blockbuster Goodachari.

However, Hashmi has also been responding to controversy surrounding his alleged behavior towards Pakistani actor Javed Sheikh during the filming of Jannat. Sheikh claimed that Hashmi was coldly dismissive and rude towards him, but Hashmi denied the allegations, stating that they were on cordial terms and he didn't recall any such incident. Hashmi dismissed Sheikh's claims, saying that it's a "giant comedy of errors" that has been blown out of proportion.

As Hashmi focuses on his upcoming film Ground Zero, set to release on April 25, 2025, he remains committed to his craft, balancing his personal and professional life. With his son's chess career on the rise and his own film projects in the works, Emraan Hashmi continues to make headlines in the entertainment industry.
