Realme Set to Launch 14x Series, Skipping 13x Model

New Delhi, India: The latest buzz in the tech world is the anticipated launch of the Realme 14x, which is set to mark the company's next move in the highly competitive smartphone market. Realme is taking a bold step by skipping the 13x model, hinting at significant upgrades in the upcoming series. The much-awaited device is expected to land in India on December 18, before making its way to global markets.

Design and specifications of the Realme 14x have been leaked, giving us a sneak peek into what's in store. The new design language is expected to make its debut on the 14x, with a sleek 6.67-inch 120Hz HD+ display. Under the hood, the phone boasts a Mediatek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, running on Android 14. The battery capacity is listed at 5600mAh, supporting 45W fast charging, while the rear camera features a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, alongside a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, we can expect either a 5MP or 8MP shooter with f/2.4 aperture, both with EIS support. The phone is set to feature IP69 dust and water protection, measuring 7.9mm in thickness and weighing 197g. The color palette will include Jewel Red, Golden Glow, and Crystal Black.

The Realme 14 Pro series, comprising the 14 Pro, Pro Plus, and Pro Lite models, is also on the horizon. The 14 Pro has been spotted on certification sites, revealing a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 16MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 6000mAh battery. It will come with three variants: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB, offering Pearl White and Shade Gray color options. Although the pricing and exact release date are yet to be confirmed, tech enthusiasts are eagerly expecting significant upgrades in the series.
