DJ Aqeel, a renowned DJ, has shared his experiences of performing at intimate celebrity weddings, including the sangeet ceremonies of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, and Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, offering a glimpse into the exclusive world of Bollywood weddings.
Aqeel revealed that Abhishek's sangeet was a "crazy party" held at his house in Juhu, while Saif and Kareena's ceremony was a small, intimate affair with only a few people at the Taj. He has a close rapport with the celebrities, having grown up with many of them, and has performed at several high-profile weddings, including Lakshmi Mittal's daughter's wedding in Paris, where Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan were also present.
DJ Aqeel recently performed at the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, where he delivered a 4.5-5 hour marathon set, but was restricted from sharing any moments on social media due to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). He also reflected on his experiences at the sangeet ceremonies of Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai, describing them as intimate and lively respectively.
