Karan Veer Mehra, the winner of Bigg Boss 18, recently opened up about his complicated relationship with co-contestant Vivian Dsena, labeling him as arrogant and revealing how their friendship soured due to perceived favoritism on the show.

Mehra claimed that Dsena's behavior changed after he felt Dsena was being favored, leading to jealousy and a worsening of their situation. Despite this, Mehra expressed hope for Dsena's understanding, but their issues continued to escalate. The tension between them was further highlighted when Mehra was left off the guest list for Dsena's post-show party, which Mehra jokingly attributed to FOMO.

In a separate incident, Mehra and his friends, including Shilpa Shirodkar and Chum Darang, gathered at Sandiip Sikcand's house for a fun-filled evening, where a viral clip showed Sandiip taking a playful jab at Dsena, referencing his recent success bash to which Mehra and his friends were not invited. Mehra responded with a joke about his long-standing friendships, alluding to his 12-year friendship with Dsena.

In other news, a Central European University graduate student, Zitta Nemetova, is suing the Hungarian government over a law that banned her from pursuing a degree in press and digital journalism, claiming it restricts free expression and creates an "academic apartheid system". The law has been controversial, with critics seeing it as a means to suppress dissent and weaken the rule of law.

The situation between Mehra and Dsena remains complicated, with both parties seemingly at odds with each other. Meanwhile, the Hungarian government's law has sparked outrage and debate about academic freedom and the suppression of dissent.
