The Weeknd Hurry Up Tomorrow: Trilogy Concludes

Updated :

The Weeknd has finally released his highly anticipated album "Hurry Up Tomorrow", marking the conclusion of his trilogy. The album features an impressive lineup of collaborations, including Future, Anitta, and Lana Del Rey, and is accompanied by the announcement of a massive North American stadium tour, the "After Hours 'Til Dawn" tour.

The "After Hours 'Til Dawn" tour will kick off on May 9 in Phoenix and conclude on September 3 in San Antonio, with stops in 22 other US and Canadian cities. Tickets for the tour will go on sale on February 7, following an artist presale on January 31. The Weeknd's new album was initially set to release on January 24 but was postponed due to the Los Angeles wildfire crisis, eventually dropping on January 31 via XO and Republic Records.

The album features three singles: "Dancing in the Flames", "Timeless" featuring Playboi Carti, and "São Paulo" with Anitta. "Timeless" already reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in October. The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, has also announced his film debut in a psychological thriller of the same name, directed by Trey Edward Shults and starring Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan, set to release on May 16.

The album marks the end of a journey that began with three mixtapes in 2011, which were later remastered and compiled into the "Trilogy" album in 2012. Proceeds from the album's track "Take Me Back to LA" will be donated to the LA Regional Food Bank, providing emergency food assistance to those impacted by the wildfires.

With the release of "Hurry Up Tomorrow", The Weeknd has concluded his trilogy, and fans can look forward to his upcoming tour and film debut. The Weeknd's music and film projects are highly anticipated, and his contributions to the music industry and charitable efforts are expected to continue making an impact.
