UFC 311 Proceeds at Intuit Dome

Updated :

Despite the ongoing wildfires across Los Angeles, UFC 311 is set to take place as scheduled at the Intuit Dome this weekend, featuring two highly anticipated title fights and cutting-edge technology to enhance the fan experience.

UFC President Dana White has confirmed that the event will not be relocated, stating "No, there's no chance we move, we'll be there on Saturday. 100%." The main card will include bouts between Jamahal Hill and Gegard Mousasi, as well as Merab Dvalishvili and Umar Nurmagomedov. Fighters Beneil Dariush and Kevin Holland, who will be competing in the main card, have expressed their focus on the event while keeping the victims of the recent wildfires in their thoughts.

The Intuit Dome will showcase its state-of-the-art technology, including a 38,375-square-foot Halo Board featuring 4K creative elements, live stats, betting odds, and bespoke animations. The arena's 17,000 seats will be equipped with programmable LED lights to display lighting cues during key moments, and the Halo Board will also provide live stats and interactive trivia through four-button controllers attached to each seat. Additionally, the UFC will utilize a four-point cable cam system, RF Steadicam, and interior and exterior drones to capture unique camera angles.

As the UFC aims to strike a balance between visuals and information to enhance the fan experience, the event is expected to be an exciting and immersive experience for attendees and viewers at home. With the fighters and the UFC community showing support for those affected by the wildfires, UFC 311 is set to be a memorable event despite the challenging circumstances.
