PSL Draft 2025: Emerging Talent Showcased

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the list of emerging young cricketers for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10, including Faham-ul-Haq, son of former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq, in the Emerging category. This move highlights the wealth of potential among Pakistan's under-19 cricketers, with several notable players also featured in the gold category.

The list of emerging players was revealed on Friday, featuring Hunain Shah, Ubaid Shah, and Shahzaib Khan, who impressed during the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 and Islamabad United's last season. Additionally, the PCB has announced the list of local players in the gold category, including Ahmed Shehzad, Fawad Alam, Umar Akmal, and Sharjeel Khan. These seasoned players will add experience to the teams in the upcoming PSL season.

The PCB has also made changes to the pick order for the PSL 10 draft, consolidating the Platinum categories and reducing the number of Diamond and gold categories. The revised schedule and venue for the player draft have been announced, with Lahore Qalandars securing the first pick in the Platinum 1 category and Quetta Gladiators starting the Platinum 2 category. The draft is set to take place on January 13 at Huzuri Bagh in Lahore at 12:30 PM (Pakistan Standard Time).

With the PSL draft approaching, fans are eagerly awaiting the selection of their favorite players and the formation of the teams. The inclusion of emerging talent and seasoned players is expected to bring an exciting dimension to the upcoming season, showcasing the best of Pakistan's cricketing talent.

Faham-ul-Haq and other emerging players will be part of the PSL 10 draft, alongside seasoned players like Ahmed Shehzad and Fawad Alam, with the draft scheduled for January 13 in Lahore.
