Dubai Launches Programme to Strengthen Emirati Families

Dubai has introduced a pioneering initiative, the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme, to enhance the well-being of Emirati families. Launched under the auspices of HRH Princess Sheikha Hind, the programme promises to provide comprehensive support through financial, social, and educational resources, aligning with Dubai's vision to double the number of Emirati families by 2033.

A key component of the programme is the 10-day marital leave for Emirati couples, allowing them to spend quality time together and strengthen their relationships. Additionally, the scheme offers flexible work policies, facilitating a better work-life balance for workers. Furthermore, the initiative incorporates social, financial, and housing education and awareness programs for families, along with wedding support and housing assistance. These measures aim to promote family stability, quality of life, and social unity, a crucial step towards achieving the Dubai Social Agenda 33's objectives.

The launch of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme has been marked by a spectacular display of patriotism, featuring the iconic Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab. As part of the celebrations, the Dubai Police Force organized a grand military parade. This special day holds great significance as it coincides with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's 19th Accession Day, which has been dedicated to his wife, H.H. Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum.

In a heartfelt acknowledgement, Sheikh Mohammed praised Sheikha Hind as "the most beautiful thing" and honored her with a loving Arabic poem. He went on to express deep appreciation for her unwavering support and selflessness, portraying her as the cornerstone of his home and family and the driving force behind his initiatives.
