Three individuals, including a hotel manager and two hotel staff members, have been charged in Argentina in connection with the death of One Direction's Liam Payne after he fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires in October.

A total of five people are being investigated in connection with the death of the 31-year-old pop star. In addition to the hotel staff, two other individuals have been implicated in the case, including a friend of the singer. The charges against the hotel staff include manslaughter and failure to provide adequate care or assistance to Payne, who was struggling with addiction. According to the investigation, the hotel staff failed to take adequate precautions when allowing Payne access to the balcony, where he fell and suffered multiple injuries.

The forensic examination found that Payne had traces of alcohol, cocaine, and a prescription antidepressant in his system, suggesting that he may have been unconscious when the accident occurred. The prosecutor's office alleges that the hotel employees had abandoned Payne in his room despite knowing he was in a state of intoxication, which ultimately led to his death. If convicted, the hotel employees and the hotel manager face one to five years in prison, while those accused of supplying drugs could face up to 15 years in jail.

Liam Payne rose to fame as a member of the boyband One Direction, and went on to become a successful solo artist. His death has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and has raised questions about the role of addiction in the lives of celebrities. As the investigation into his death continues, Fans and friends are paying tribute to the late singer, who was known for his charismatic stage presence and hit songs like "Strip That Down" and "Polaroid".
