The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has traditionally been a platform for top international cricketers to showcase their skills, and the upcoming PSL 10 player draft is no exception, with several high-profile names registering for the event. Alex Hales, a former England opener, has become the 17th foreign player to register for the draft, joining a list of notable international cricketers in Luke Wood, Jason Roy, Dawid Malan, and Joe Root.

Hales, who has a rich experience in franchise leagues across the world, has already played six seasons with Islamabad United and one season with Karachi Kings in the PSL, scoring 1,180 runs in 44 matches. He has also featured in various other T20 leagues, including the Indian Premier League (IPL), Big Bash League (BBL), Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), and International League T20 (ILT20). With his vast experience, Hales is likely to be a valuable addition to any team in the PSL 10.

The PSL has been successful in attracting top international talent over the years, and the upcoming draft is expected to be no different. England's Luke Wood, known for his pace and versatility, is also registered for the draft, adding to the league's growing list of high-profile international players. Other notable additions to the list include Colin Munro, a former New Zealand cricketer, and Tom Kohler-Cadmore, an England batter.

The PSL 10 player draft is scheduled to take place on January 11 in Gwadar, Balochistan, and the league has expanded its roster of international players to underscore its status as a premier T20 league on the global cricket calendar. Established in 2015, the PSL has played a key role in bringing high-profile cricket back to Pakistan.
