The 11th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is all set to kick-start on December 30, 2024, with six teams competing for the coveted title. Among them, defending champions Fortune Barishal will once again don the mantle of "national team", while newcomers Dhaka Capitals and Durbar Rajshahi are set to make their debut.
Fortune Barishal, the 2024 BPL winners, have decided to retain a star-studded team that includes the likes of Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mahmudullah. The reigning champions have strengthened their squad by adding Ariful Islam, Rishad Hossain, and Ebadot Hossain.
