Pushpa 2: The Rule's Worldwide Collection Crosses ₹1,128 Crore, But Single-Day Numbers Drop

Updated :

Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' has proven its mettle at the worldwide box office, crossing ₹1,128 crore in its 22nd day, with its Hindi version raking in ₹731.15 crore, a new benchmark for Hindi films. However, the movie's fourth Friday ushered in a bit of gloom as it witnessed a 16% dip in ticket sales.

The movie, featuring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, earned ₹8.75 crore across all languages on its fourth Friday, with a division of ₹1.91 crore in Telugu, ₹6.5 crore in Hindi, ₹0.3 crore in Tamil, ₹0.03 crore in Kannada, and ₹0.01 crore in Malayalam. Despite this decline, the film is rapidly approaching the milestone of ₹750 crore in the Hindi market.

Directed by Sukumar, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is now mere steps away from surpassing the incredible record set by 'Baahubali 2' worldwide, which gained ₹1788 crore. Added testimony to the movie's commercial success lies in its support for the affected family, after its chaotic premiere on December 4, where Allu Arjun was apprehended and later granted bail.

The film's impactful charitable gesture is noteworthy, as the entire team donated ₹50 lakhs to the victim's family.
