The BPL is a highly competitive professional Twenty20 tournament. The team's owner, Sameer Quader Chowdhury, expressed his enthusiasm about the comeback and outlined the team's strategy, goals, and challenges. Chowdhury stated that the team had always intended to participate in the BPL but was prevented from doing so during certain circumstances. He wishes to assemble a well-balanced team by placing experienced players alongside young talent.
