A 1-hour and 10-minute section featuring multiple caste references was completely excised to prevent complications and hypothetical support for the movie. Additionally, portions with profanity, derogatory language towards women, and more cussing have been removed, with the intention of ensuring the film remains unobjectionable to a broad audience.

The impact of Viduthalai Part 2's theatrical release was diminished by illicit distribution on piracy websites shortly after its release, which may place significant strain on the box office earnings.
