With Rishabh Pant ruled out due to injury, Dhruv Jurel is expected to retain the wicketkeeping role for India in the fifth and final Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at The Oval. Former India wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel believes the team won't make any changes to the current combination, citing solid starts throughout the series from KL Rahul and Jaiswal.

Jurel, 24, has already kept wickets twice after Pant's injury in the third Test at Lord's and in Manchester, and has impressed in his limited opportunities, taking three catches and effecting two stumpings in the series. He has also scored valuable runs, including a 90-run knock against England last year. India batting coach Sitanshu Kotak praises Jurel's wicketkeeping skills and preparations with the bat, believing he is an outstanding talent who has been preparing well despite limited game time in England.

Gautam Gambhir, the head coach of India's cricket team, has high praise for Jurel, who has been a substitute keeper in the England Test series. Gambhir has told Jurel that he will be the backbone of India's middle order and has motivated him to perform well. Jurel's childhood coach, Parvendra Yadav, has also credited Gambhir for backing the young keeper and has praised Jurel's hard work and dedication.

As the fifth and final Test approaches, all eyes will be on Jurel as he looks to make his mark and cement his place in the team. With the support of the coaching staff and his impressive performances so far, Jurel is set to play a crucial role in the series decider.
